Driver licensing
Fees
Our driver licensing offices accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit cards, and personal cheques.
All licences expiring within 180 days are considered renewals. The new licence will still be valid for five years from your upcoming birthday.

To renew a learner's licence you must also re-take the knowledge test.

Enhanced driver licence (EDL)
With EDLs you pay for your driver's licence plus an additional enhanced fee. Additional fees may apply in some circumstances.

Enhanced identity card (EIC)
With EICs you pay for your normal ID fee plus an additional enhanced fee. Additional fees may apply in some circumstances.
